In 2002, a bereaved mother of 2 came to SafetyBeltSafe U.S.A., offering to share the story of a serious crash which led to the ejection of her children and the death of her younger one, all because she did not require the use of safety seats or belts. Besides telling her story locally, Samantha agreed to allow us to share it in the mass media. A sensitive report in the Los Angeles Times led producers from The Oprah Winfrey Show to approach us. Samantha agreed to describe the worst decision she ever made. Broadcast of the segment is scheduled for Wednesday, August 18. We thought you would want to know.
