My son, the little stinker!

Here's a few silly stories about my ds.

He is 3 1/2 and sometimes still wets the bed although he is day potty trained. He decided he didn't want to wear pull-ups to bed anymore because "they are diapers and i'm not a baby". Which is great, i thought. We've been putting him to bed in underwear instead for about a two weeks now, and he's had a dry bed every night. So, this morning I woke to the sound of him opening and closing his drawers and his closet door. I'm laying in bed thinking, 'he's peed in his pants and is now changing so i don't know about it". So then he comes into my room holding a painting he had made that was taped to the wall. He tells me he needs more tape, it's a painting of you mommy (sucking up to mom now) i need to tape it on the wall again. I ask, "Joey, did you pee in your pants?" "no, mom, i changed my clothes, can you tape this on the wall?" he's looking all proud of himself now, but he didn't change his pajama top, just bottoms :). I asked him what happened to his pajamas. He says he spilled water on them LOL! What a little stinker! And the whole time he is giving me his cute little smile with the dimples and everything! He KNOWS how cute he is!! LOL! He did help me change his sheets on the bed though.

Story 2... I don't like my kids saying that things are stupid. I just don't like them using that word for some reason. So of course, Joey says the word once in a while , under his breath, just to make me mad.
Lately, if he says "thats stupid" or something like that and I turn to him and say "what did you just say?" he gives me his sweetest smile and goes "mommy, i love you!"

LOL!

Wow well good luck with him, sounds like he already knows how to get to you. I don't understand why he would try to hide wetting the bed? Just let him know that you understand it is an accident and he should let you know so you can both fix the problem. I sure wouldn't want my girls to hide anything (especially something that minor) from me. Good Luck :)

LOL When my DS (2.5) has an accident in his pants he always says "daddy squirted me with the hose". Half the time daddy isn't even home!
