I thought i'd reply to you here so we didn't take over someone elses post.

Yes, DH was in Iraq while DD was born. At first he didn't handle it too well. He was very depressed because it mean't everything in the world for him to be there. I also had very bad post partum depression. I tried to hide it from him but he saw right through me so he was worried a lot. But he never let it get his guard down. He also realized he is a Marine and his life is in danger so he never let his depression take over. He did meet his daughter when she was 4 1/2 months old and everything has been fine. He was scared that she wouldn't know him, like him etc... but she proved all his fears wrong. But when we look back and all was said and done it really wasn't tht bad. Babies are really attached to their moms as infants anyways so he didn't miss too much. Good Luck with both of you and tell your DH i'm very proud of him and Thank You for being so brave!!! :)

BTW- you've really got me thinking about having another child. If I want to i'd have to start like TODAY so i'm not too pregnant or having a child during the summer. :) I think Cupid is poking me with his baby arrow.

LOL, you should do it. I think it's great having two babies close together. I saw a two month old today and it made me so excited to be having another one.
