Sites that tell appropriateness of tv shows and movies?

Moms View Message Board: Parenting Discussion: Archive January-June 2004: Sites that tell appropriateness of tv shows and movies?
By Kate on Sunday, March 7, 2004 - 12:02 am:

Does anyone know of sites that tell what a show or movie involves as well as language, bad attitude, violence, etc? I only know 'screenit' and I find it quite lacking as many movies aren't listed. And I've found none for tv shows, but I'm a horrible internet searcher. Please share any sites you know of! TIA!

Try www.kidsinmind.com for movies. HTH!

I'm not aware of any sites like this for TV shows but I check out these 3 for movies.

KidsInMind.com

MovieMom.com

ScreenIt.com

Pluggedinonline.com has TV reviews...it's a site from Focus on the Family (Christian values) and a good one for movies and pop culture trends, too.

You're welcome :) I used to subscribe to "Plugged In," and I would really recommend it. I only dropped it when I was trying to simplify my life, LOL

And thanks to Trina and Melanie, too!! I didn't mean to leave you guys out! I've bookmarked all of the sites and I know I will use them regularly. :)
