Warning Signs of Type 1 Diabetes (these may occur suddenly)

Extreme thirst
Increased appetite

Frequent urination
Sudden weight loss

Sudden vision changes
Drowsiness, lethargy

Sugar in urine
Heavy, labored breathing

Fruity, sweet, or wine-like odor on Breath
Stupor, unconsciousness
