Crystal...flower power?

My girl friend is about ten weeks along. What was the flower test you mentioned several weeks ago to guess the sex of the baby? I told her about it and she wants to try it.
Thanks...and I'll be sure to post the results after a positive ultrasound or the birth in OCTOBER! :) (seems so far away...)

You go to the florist and buy a pink carnation and a blue one. Put them in a vase with water, and DO NOT MESS WITH THEM!!!! Don't change the water, touch them, just leave them alone in a place where they won't be disturbed. One will shrivel up and the other will stay open. The open one is the sex of the baby. This takes a few days at least. Like I said before, I did it before I knew I was having twins, and they both stayed open for two weeks. Then the blue shriveled up, a day before the pink. In my 2nd ultrasound I found out about Shane, but we couldn't tell the other babiy's sex. At my third we found out it was a girl!!! I guess that was the flowers way of compensating for twins. My boss was pregnant and so was her neighbor, at the same time I was. The flowers were right for both of them. The coworker who told us about it said her family has been doing this forever, and it's always been right. Can't wait to find out what your friend is having. Tell her I said congrats!!! :)

Thank you. I am going to buy her the flowers this weekend and give her this post. I'll let you know the results! Thanks.

Annie, she should buy the flowers!!!!! I'm not sure if it works unless she buys them!

Thanks. I almost bought them this morning. Is there a preference for a room that they should be placed? She works during the day, should they be in the bedroom, kitchen? My friend and I are very excited about this "experiment". LOL

I sat mine in my living room/dining room. I put a sign in front of them saying do not disturb, b/c our roommate always had ppl over. If she prefers the bedroom or thinks thats the best place to keep them safe then I guess that works. I was never told a specific room. Let me know what happens!!! :)
