Sewing a Pillow

Moms View Message Board: Arts, Crafts, Gardening and Ideas: Sewing a Pillow

I bought a sewing machine and was going to make a pillow. For the life of me I cannot figure out how to sew the last seem on the pillow so that it is tucked inside???

Can you please tell what the trick is. Do I have to do it by hand? I am not a sewer-- but maybe I will be if I keep trying.

You have to do it by hand. Leave as small an opening as possible to still get the stuffing in, then turn both rough edges in and whipstitch it by hand.
