1 lb lean ground beef
½ lb. ground pork
½ ground veal or turkey
1/3 c. chopped onion
1/3 c. chopped green peppers
4 cloves garlic, minced
½ c. bread crumbs
1 T. dry oregano or 1/4 c. fresh
1 T. dry sweet basil or 1/4 c. fresh
1 T. dry chopped parsley or 1/4 c. fresh
2 eggs
1/3 c. catsup
¼ c. grated parmesan cheese
¼ c. milk
½ tsp. salt
½ tsp. fresh ground pepper
6 thick slices of Mozzarella cheese
6 slices of Provolone cheese
1 c. Marinara Sauce

Mix all ingredients, except sliced cheeses and Marinara Sauce together. Work with hands until well mixed. Roll into two equal balls. Flatten one of the balls of meat mixture in a round baking dish. Arrange slices of cheese on flattened meat mixture. Place second ball on top. Flatten and seal the edges. Pour Marinara Sauce over the meat, and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese. Bake at 350 F for one hour.
