I just did my 30 day cooking and I used 10 lbs of hamburger, here are 2 recipes that may be new (I made 5 but I'm sure you know how to make spaghetti sauce:))

NOODLE GOOP
Combine 1 pound cooked hamburger, 1 Lb cooked egg noodles(throw in 1/2 bell pepper in water)1/2 lb velveeta cheese and 1 can cream of mushroom soup. Let sit for 5 minutes and serve. I just season with s/p.

MEXICAN CORNBREAD CASSEROLE
Brown 1 lb hamburger, mix in 1 can refried beans spread in the bottom of 9x13 baker, layer:
1 small can diced green chilies
1 can chopeed olives
8 oz sour cream
8 oz shredded cheddar/jack cheese
top with one box honey cornbread mix(Krusteaz is best imo)
Bake @ 375 until cornbread cracks, remove and let sit for 10 minutes, slice and serve.
Middle layers don't matter just make sure hamburger/beans on bottom and cornbread on top!

These are two simple recipes that my kids will eat! Also both make great leftovers and can be doubled or tripled easily.

I like to make tator tot casserole

Brown the meat then drain it. Mix in 2-3 cans of cream of mussroom soup.

Layer that is the bottom of a cake pan on top of that put 2 cans of veg-all or mixed vegetables. On top of that put velvetta cheese Take the block cheese and put slices of it over the whole pan then on top of that put tator-tots. A single layer then put that inthe over and cook it by the directions of the tator-tots it is awesome.

Just make sure your cheese layer is not took think as you want it too melt really well while it is cooking.

I was given this recipe 3 years ago and it is always a hit

2 pounds ground beef (browned with onion if your family likes it)
2 pounds tator tots
1 LARGE can cream of mushroom soup
1 can of milk
1 pound frozen broccoli
8 oz. sharp cheddar cheese
mix it all together and spread in a large casserole pan Bake in 350 oven for 45 minutes topping with more cheese during last 5 minutes of baking time!!

I make this up in big batches and freeze in individual casseroles it is a hit every time I take it somewhere! Thaw completely before baking if you freeze it ahead!

Moved this over to the recipe board, 'cause these recipes & suggestions sound too good to let them disappear on the parenting board.
