In need of low-fat recipes!

Moms View Message Board: Cooking and Recipe Discussion: Discuss Cooking and Looking for Recipes: In need of low-fat recipes!

I will post this at the recipe board for any of you that have low-fat recipes. Me and my dh are going to start eating healthier. I really need ideas. All I can think of is salads and baked chicken! I need all the help I can get! :)

http://www.mealsforyou.com offers recipes according to the specifications you request.

I always specify "fastest prep time" to search for recipes, but I know calorie, sodium and low fat are all choices as well. They have great recipes. I usually find just what I'm looking for.

Joan - It's not a news flash here that I am a self proclaimed "Bad cook" well maybe not self proclaimed as we have thrown away some of my dinners, however I have a winner for you. I've started using my Weight Watchers cookbook and I made Mushroom burgers the other night. My dh told me 3 times how great they were. I'll post the recipe on the recipe board. Oh and we used turkey meat instead of hamburger only because that's what we had in the freezer. I'm sure they taste just as good with hamburger.

Nancy, those sound very yummy. Just a question, do you eat these as a sandwich, or alone with a fork? I think I even have everything for these and will probebly be making them in the near future!

Joan, Because it WW it is prepared without a bun, but my dd ate his on one. Either way it would be good. I hope you try them soon. Enjoy!
