More than two decades ago, we opened our doors as Seattle FilmWorks, with the idea of using motion-picture film to create beautiful slides and photo prints. In 1986, our company made its initial public offering under the symbol, FOTO. Throughout our twenty-five year history, we have served more than six million customers. We credit our unwavering commitment to quality for our success.

Since the beginning, we've been creating new and innovative ways for customers to make the most of their photos. We were the first photofinisher to offer prints and slides from the same roll. In 1994, our company introduced Pictures On Disk, which allowed customers to have their film photos scanned onto a floppy disk. We followed this in 1995 with the introduction of PhotoMail, the delivery of digital photos from the lab to customers directly over the Internet.

In 1999, our team expanded its digital services by providing free scanning of 35mm photos and storing them in a private online account. From that point on, customers could start using online accounts to share photos, order reprints and create personalized greeting cards and Photo Gifts.

In 2001, we were the first to introduce PhotoShow (a multi-media, movie-like presentation, complete with background music, themes and credits) that customers could make and view on TV. In 2002, our team led the industry by making prints from memory cards and CDs of digital images.

Today, we're focusing on changing the way you look at pictures. We've created a new web site. It's a place where our customers can store their photos, edit them, organize them into albums, share them with friends and family, and use them to create a host of excellent new products-custom photo books, cards, calendars, keepsakes and more.
