I've been busy painting!

And I love painting with "non-neutral" colors! Our house has been plain white since we moved it and it bugs me to decorate around it. Therefore, I painted 2 accent walls in both my living room and dining room! I'm not done decorating because things have been moved around of taken out because they no longer match and I completely emptied out my hutch to re-decorate. It will get there in time. :)

Very nice colors..Great job. It's such a nice change when you go from white. I think your red color is the same as my kitchen.

I really like the dining room. We live in ALL WHITE too and it is driving me nuts.

I'd really love to see the rooms as *finishd products*..... I am always looking for decorating tips and ideas, and I find my best ones come from so many of what you guys on the board do! Again, I LOVE the red!!!!!

I'm not much of a "red" person. Seeing your walls may change my mind. It looks great! It really makes the white "pop" while still having enough "pop" of it's own. Really awesome!

Karen- I'll post pictures when i'm finished. I put a pause on buying the things I need due to Christmas being next week. I have another area i'm going to re-do. I need to buy a hall table (I really want to find an old one I can paint black and sand it to give it an antique look) and I have to add a few more knick knacks. It's a fun project that I could totally go broke on. I know most people are so-so about the two mustard yellow accent walls but I love them. I think the red and yellow walls compliment each other very well.
