I have pecan floors in my entry way that extend down the hallway and into our formal living and dining room areas. The living room and dining room floors look fine but the entry way and the hallway always look dirty to me no matter how much I clean them. Does anyone have any idea what I can do about this? Do they need to be refinished?

They probably need to be refinished. The same thing happened in our last house. It seemed like the floor never looked clean. We had them refinished, and they looked beautiful after that.
