Dh and I have class today, but the kids do not. So I have to make all these special arrangements for childcare. I am having some serious cramps too, I haven't felt like this since high school. Too bad I can't just have my mom call me in sick like high school, lol.

How did it go today? Did the kids do okay? Are you feeling better? Sure hope so!

In college, I remember being at the hospital, where we did the OB rotation and having severe menstrual cramps. I did go home early that day. This was before OTC ibuprofen. It would have been nice to have that, back in my high school and college days. My kids are so lucky. With some ibuprofen, I probably could have stayed.

Oh Dawn...I hear ya! Ibuprofen is a wonder drug as far as I'm concerned. I, too, was thrilled when it went OTC. I used to use it for cramps. Now I use it for my age-related arthritis! LOL!

Everything actually worked out great. I had read the onsite childcare at school only took kids up to age 6 and ds is 7. When I called to ask about dd(6) coming they said sure, what about your ds? I thought he was too old to go but they told me they take kids up to age 12. They don't offer the childcare in the summer, so I guess it's primarily for things like school out days for the older ones. I got 2 a's on tests!!! Tylenol took the edge off my cramps and now that everythings started, they're over! Now that I know my dks can all go to the childcare at school if needed, that really opens up the possibility I'll be able to keep going next semester.
