Making a link in e-mails

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: Archive February 2007: Making a link in e-mails
By Justanaunt on Monday, February 5, 2007 - 05:05 pm:

How do you make a clickable descriptive link to include in e-mails?

By Dawnk777 on Monday, February 5, 2007 - 05:10 pm:

I can just click on a link icon, in Outlook and copy and paste the right info, and it links it automatically. What email program are you using?

If it's html mail:

\<a href="http://www.lakebreeze.org/">Dawn's Website</a>

would work (without the backslash, at the very beginning). You would just change the website address and description to make it work.

Otherwise, just typing in, or pasting

http://www.lakebreeze.org

should make it a link.

when the message is up type what you want the link to say, highlight it & go up to insert, there is an option for a hyperlink, click on that & paste the address you want into the place for the URL.

I hope that makes sense.
