It's a unisex fragrance; as is Calvin Klein One and Calvin Klein Electric.

DH got it for me for Christmas and I was thinking it seemed more like a man's fragance.

I have never smelled it. It might be heavy at first but the second and third notes might soften up to a scent that you like. Every fragrance smells differently on each person.

In the am spray both wrists, back of neck and back of knees. Do not rub wrists together. That only breaks down the oils and makes the fragrance evaporate faster.

After the initial scent that you smell, YOU will not be able to notice the fragrance on yourself; however others will be able to smell it. Do not reapply for another five hours or so.

Maybe try the scent on a day that DH will be around you and see if he notices how you "smell".
