First time they have advanced this far in the playoffs! Years ago I used to watch the games. In fact, when it looked like the Saints were getting their act together back in the 80's, Bubbels and her family used to come over every Sunday and we'd all watch the games.

And true to their form, the Saints would blow it in the 2nd half, so I stopped watching them.

Last night DH and I watched the playoff game (first football game we have EVER watched together, BTW...). So no matter what people think of the Saints, this was a boost this area could certainly use right now.

I was somewhat watching the game last night and was hoping the Eagles would win. I'm not really a football fan, but do give the Eagles credit for getting as far as they did after losing McNabb earlier this season.

At least now the news stations won't lead off their broadcasts with football!!! That, to me, is something to celebrate.
