I couldn't believe this either... Those poor kids (and families) to go through that and now have to adjust back to life.. It is often a rough transition and I wish for them the very best.. I am so amazed myself and it goes to show that so many children are out there "some where". Breaks my heart to think about it and makes me wonder how many "missing" children are in our own back yards. YKWIM?

Kirkwood Mo, is about an hour and a half from here, so it is "local" news. We had been following Ben's disapperance and I was getting the feeling more and more that it was going to turn out bad, when they found him I was overjoyed, it brought tears to my eyes, by dd was wondering why I was so emotional over a little boy who we did not know, and I told her that every missing child becomes like your own when it happens and you feel for the parents and what they are going through, sure makes you want to watch your kids even more closely than we already do. As for Shawn I "remember" his story and picture and can't say anything other than it is a complete and utter miracle. It is sad and joyous all at the same time for his family I'm sure who will grieve at the loss of the eleven year old boy that they lost and for what he must've gone through. I hope and pray that he will turn out alright...

It is such a happy story.

I hope it gives hope to Natalee Holloway's Mom.
