My Dad kept on saying he hopes 2007 would be a better year then he had last year after his hip surgery in June, Well guess what he was admitted to the hospital yesterday with pneumonia and dyhydration. He had been sick for about a week and I insisted he go to the Dr. but stubborn as he is he wouldn't, well yesterday I took him to the ER and they admitted him. 2007 isn't looking up yet.
Then today DS Brett woke up with pains in his belly and running to the bathroom. Stomach virus is running rampant around here.
And I am suppose to be on vacation from the bar until the 16 the owner is going on a cruise tomorrow....

Please say a prayer for Dad that he will have a quick recovery, and thanks for letting me ramble!

((((KATHY))))) MIL is sick too.. Pumping her full of drugs and she seems to be finally shaking it. Parents and children... Can't get them to listen for nothing.

Yikes. We had the stomach virus, just before Christmas. Then 3 more people at work (clinic), got it, too. I haven't heard anymore reports. That's in addition to the 3 kids who had it, at the school where I worked.

Hope your dad is better soon!!!! I am just getting over pneumonia, I very nearly went to the ER last weekend too. It's more dangerous for the elderly and those with compromised immune systems, or those with asthma (as I have). Let us know how he is doing.

As for the stomach thing, Jen and her B/F had it a week or so ago for 2 or 3 days. I do NOT want that! With the pneumonia and the meds for it, I've dropped several pounds and I don't need to drop more due to dehydration, etc. from a stomach virus.

Hope Brett is better now too!
