Suggestions on Where to Buy Bench Pad/Cushion

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: Archive January 2007: Suggestions on Where to Buy Bench Pad/Cushion
By Kate on Thursday, January 4, 2007 - 09:21 pm:

I need cushions for my kitchen table benches and I can't find very many and when I do they are not large enough. I have tried:
Penneys
Sears
Pottery Barn
Linens 'n Things
Bed Bath and Beyond
Spiegels
Plow and Hearth
LL Bean
Land's End
Country Curtains
ebay

I need them to be at least 42 inches long, preferably 48 and no such luck. Any ideas of a place I could try?? Anyone know anyone who does professional custom work? Thanks!

You know, it wouldn't be that hard to make them :) You just buy the foam at a fabric store, you could do a simple pillow case type cover. If you sew at all you could do a cording very easily.

However, you might talk to alteration places about sewing covers for you.
