We picked him up yesterday. His name is Oscar and he is a miniature long haired dachsund. He is just tooooooooo cute. He is from my sister's dog's first litter. Isn't he cute?!

One of my new friends here has 2 of those dogs. But they are a mixed color and one is blind and the other is almost blind. The blind one is the coolest dog I think I have ever seen. He follows his nose to you or he follows your voice to get to you. So neat.

His nose is brown and it is soooooo cute! Also, he is settling in just fine. He is such a good boy! Our dog Jasmine is in a snit though. I think she is mad with us, but I know she will get better in time. We give her lots of attention. Today, she went outside and refused to come in. I felt so bad for her. Oscar wants to get close to her so bad.

Kathy, I'll tell DD that you like the name. She gave it to him. My sister called him Dickie and we didn't like that.

Oh, I also wanted to say that I was looking at him in a better light today and I noticed that he has a very light streak of black hair that leads down to his little black tail. CUTE!
