Has anyone tried this? There are a few different variations, I was wondering if one worked better than the other and if it works well at all. If it does, I'll save a ton of money!!!!!

I've used a powdered version with grated Ivory soap, borax and washing soda. It worked pretty well and was great for our ultra-sensitive skin but I had to be vigilant about using a stain remover since it didn't take care of some stubborn spots as well as commercial detergent. HTH
