Next Wednesday it will be 20 years ago that dh asked me to marry him! I wanted to do something special for it, so I thought about sending him a plant arrangement with a few fresh flowers in it. That way, he can keep the plant on his desk at work. I want to put something on the card like: Still so happy you asked, or thanks for asking or something to that effect. Do either of those sound right or do any of you creative ladies have any ideas?? TIA

One year hubby came home to find a trail of rose petals leading him to a tape recorder. On the tape I gave him the mission to find me (I was at a restaurant). I had his clothes laid out, the kids at a sitter, and various clues to lead him there. The answer was also available in his truck if he couldn't figure it out. He met me there and I even had a special menu made out (the restaurant was very helpful). He still talks about how romantic that was.
How about flowers that you used in your wedding?
Or how about telling him you would marry him all over again and have a private ceremony that night ;)
