There are boxes everywhere, and I have no idea where anything is, but we are here. I love our new house. It was nice to walk in and realize that I like it even better then when we came house hunting. Yesterday the boys and I unpacked their rooms and set them up. I am going to do the kitchen today. We are all sick of eating out! Dh is going to grill tonight.

The move went pretty well. The only bad part, I got a sinus infection in the middle of it all! I just kept on going until yesterday when I woke up and the whole right side of my face was swollen. My head, teeth and ears were throbbing. I went to a urgent care and got an antibiotic, so it should be better in a few days. The good thing, dh unpacked our entire bedroom by himself and put everything away! I think he felt sorry for my pathetic self

So, all is going well. I am sure it will be crazy for the next week until we get everything unpacked. Ohh... and it is hot and humid here. Both my ds's say they love it here. It feels like home.

Oh Debbie, I'm so happy for you! Sorry to hear about your sinus infection, but glad to hear you like your new home and are settling in. It must be GREAT to have the whole family together again!

Congratulations on your new home! I bet it is wonderful to have everyone together again. While it is so much work moving, I love the feeling of finding a new home for everything and everything being so neat and tidy...at least for a couple of weeks. LOL

Well, I guess since my sinuses are healthy for the most part right now it's your turn to have the infection! lol Now of course when yours clears up I'll get another one. I'm glad the move's gone smoothly so far. Enjoy your new home!

It sounds like your move mimicked mine, down to the sinus infection and being sick of fast food! My doctor told me that the dust from moving can trigger sinus infections pretty easily and that they aren't uncommon for people moving. I had no idea!

So glad that you are getting settled in so quickly. Unpacking has been so...NOT fun but it gets done eventually. Share pictures of your new place!
