It was storming here this morning but it has stop. We could use alot more rain. Its about 50ish here. Suppost to get up to the 60s tommorow.

Ooooh Panda - Your in Florida...LUCKY BUM!! I'm in Western NY - Near Buffalo - Ski (SNOW) Country LOL. No where near the 50's here. We just had a pretty good snow storm that dumped another 3 FEET ...yes I said FEET of snow on us last weekend. I can't wait for Spring!!

Yesterday was BEAUTIFUL 80.I was outside playing in my garden...The weeds NEVER seem to go away for the winter here in Fl
Weather is not too GREAT here today..We are having rain but is STILL warm...I did get to play in the yard before the rain came.
Suppost to be warm this weekend..kids are going to Universal..they got yr passes so they want to start using them...Talk about home ALONE just me & DSH MMMM. Sounds good to me. We'll go in May maybe sooner..Whoo knows!!

We are supposed to have Winter Carnival st my DH ski resort - better known as Mardi Gras weekend....very festive. They actually make a Snow Bar and there is a band & lots of fun....BUT - there is allotta rain coming. So - not looking like as good a weekend as normally. So we shall see....

Torrential rains day b4 yesterday, light rains yesterday and thunder, lightning and high wind right now!
It has either been raining, sleeting or snowing for the last 8 months.
This area is way over the average precip for Jan, Feb and it looks to be the same for this month.
Two years ago we were in a bad drought w/water restrictions and we purchased two rain barrels from Gardeners Supply. There were restrictions on all watering, washing, etc. Only veggie gardens could be watered every other day btwn 10 pm and 4 am.
Since we bought those rain barrels the rain has been never ending!

OMG! That's usually how it work Katherine! I just bought my youngest DD a new Snow coat, hat & gloves & we have had weather in the high 50's & 60's ever since! & now it is supposed to rain. Snow is all melted!

It got up to 60 here yesterday! It will be gorgeous again today. I had the windows in the house open - the windows in the car down - the sunroof open - music blaring! It felt AWESOME! Oh, we had an earthquake yesterday evening. It was a rolling one (never felt one of those before) and it lasted quite some time. I actually started getting dizzy and thought someone had spiked my drink! No harm done in our area.
