This morning I called Randy's school to let them know he wasn't coming today (stomach bug--it's going around). One of the secretaries answered the phone, "Good morning, ****** middle school, can you hear me?" I said, "Uh, yeah, I can hear you!" lol She laughed and said, "Sorry, I have a cold and I'm not thinking straight yet this morning!" It was nice to have a good morning laugh.

Last week I called the doctor's office to make an appointment for Randy (ear was bothering him) and they weren't open quite yet so I got the machine. Funny thing was the message said, "Thank you for calling Dr. Barry's office. If this is an emergency please leave a message and I'll get right back to you." HUH? Seriously, I called it again to see if I'd heard it right! What happened to "call 911"?!? I'll have to mention that to them when we go in Friday. lol

I actually called a police department in a neighboring small town a while ago, and an answering machine said" Sorry no one is here to take your call .Please call back later"! I think it may have even said "we are closed for the night". No kidding!

I had the pharmacy tech end our phone call the other day, "okay, see you later, love ya." We both caught it at the same time and laughed. She was distracted and it just came out.

Bobbie, I said that to a daycare mom while she was walking out the door once! lol We both got a pretty good laugh out of that one.

Wandilu, that's just crazy about the police department, but I believe it. Call forwarding, people! lol
