Winterizing ornamental grasses in flower beds

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: Archive October 2008: Winterizing ornamental grasses in flower beds

Okay that was a mouthful! Anyway, I worked on winterizing my flower beds this weekend in our new house. I have 2 different kinds of tall ornamental grasses in my landscaping. One is varigated (sp?) and one is really tall and bushy with the brown fuzzies at the end. I'm assuming I cut these down for the winter?

I didn't have these in my old flower beds, so wanted to be sure first. Thanks!

Yep, just cut them down.
