I love this!!! All the major kids stations, and Webkinz too, are not working until 3pm today.

What a great idea!!!

By Luvn29 on Saturday, September 27, 2008 - 01:04 pm:

Webkinz is still up but Nick has a funny little message!

Wish it wasn't such a horrible day out here where we live, although my children make everyday a day of play.

Yes, our webkinz is working now too. But I couldn't get on with any of our computers this morning, so DD figured it was related when she tried to watch Nick I think Disney goes down too, but I didn't check

My kids didn't turn on the t.v. this morning at all (which is a change) whoops, I lied. They had it in when I was still sleeping but turned it off when I woke up.

We cleaned our rooms, kitchen and family room then played a game of SORRY! And later on we went to the school....

Their school had a Fall Festival today. It was really cute. $5 per kid, which I thought was a bit much, but it was for the school so we did it. They got wristbands when they arrived and they played little carnival type games, painted a pumpkin, and got a balloon from a clown that was there. Plus there was a DJ and food (you had to pay for that, but it was super cheap). It was the PERFECT temperature today. Around 72 degrees and overcast. The kids met up with their friends and played and ran around and had a great time. I didn't expect to stay very long, but we ended up staying from 1:00 - 3:30.

I like the idea of World Wide Play Day! That should be EVERY day!

Play? I didn't have time to play today. We did have time for a long drive to my high school city, for my 30th class reunion. I almost chickened out at the last minute, but now I'm glad I went. I enjoyed catching up with a few people and now I have some emails for people who weren't there, to do some more catching up, later. There are still some people excited to see me! LOL!

About 10 people passed away, since our last reunion. :( You just never know.

The couple that got married RIGHT out of high school, are still married yet, 30 years later! They have 5 kids, too, but no grandchildren yet. The son who is married, is still in college, along with his wife and the oldest daughter is in a serious relationship, but not married yet. Quite a few people had grandchildren, though!

House Listing

My old house, is on the market. We grabbed a flyer, from in front of the house. The dark woodwork that used to be in the kitchen has all been painted white! LOL! It looks so funny, in the pictures. My parents moved from that house, about 10 years ago.

Dawn do you have every 5 or 10 year reunions?

By Dawnk777 on Sunday, September 28, 2008 - 10:24 pm:

There was a 10, a 20, a 25 and a 30. DH's class has been the same way, too.

Dawn, I noticed the name of the town you used to live in. How big is it? For years I have followed a family with a couple of kids with special needs from that same town.

By Dawnk777 on Monday, September 29, 2008 - 02:23 pm:

67658. It was about 50,000 when I lived there, but they've been building houses like crazy, since we left.
