just down the street from me. It's the third one since I've lived here (part of the crucible was filmed here, and some other movie that I can't remember the name of) Kind of neat to see, but kind of a pitb because they are closing off a direct shortcut to the next town. Haven't seen Mel Gibson but will keep looking. The set is on part of my daily walking route. For the life of me, I cannot figure out how they found this little road in our little town to film a major movie on.

I used to live in a neighborhood that Hollywood found. Our house has been in a couple of movies (well, it used to be my house). That was years ago, however, just last year when I visited the area again, they had the streets closed for filming another movie. I forget the name but it was a blockbuster one. Back when I lived there, we didn't get the big big movies, but now they do.

They regularily film movies and a lot of tv shows in the city where I live. I saw the filming of the motorcycle scene for Paycheck with my kids. It's funny cause here you're walking around and the next thing you know you're on a movie set or a tv show set. I regularily drive by all the trailers and everything they have set up.

I've never seen anyone famous up close but I see parts of our city on tv/movies a lot! There have been times I swear I've seen famous people in cars around town but you can never be really sure can you?

I don't remember the movie but the church I got married in back in my hometown was the scene of a slash em up zombie movie...the night before my wedding! We showed up for the rehearsal and all the movie props and stuff were down the sides of the church to make room for us for our rehearsal.

X-files was filmed here and I know movies like Final Destination, The Butterfly Effect, and X-men were filmed here (the castle (school) in the movie is on Vancouver Island). There is a new show on TV called Fringe that is also filmed here my guy has been watching it and I frequently see places I know on the show.
