Thanks again, everyone!! It really was a great day, the kids were *SO* excited to have their mom eat lunch with them in the cafeteria, and to introduce me to their friends and book buddies. (Book buddies are older kids they get paired up with to read) I also got to see their classrooms... Shane's class has 2 monarch caterpillars, one is already in chrysalis, and the other is working on making his. That was really neat, they are in a tank right near Shane's desk, and he is very excited about that. We played at the park, where Mads kicked our butts in hide and seek. They used their money to buy me Skittles, which are my candy addiction. We didn't get a cake (I'd forgotten to pick one up when we were at the store), but they sang Happy Birthday before they went to bed. I've been having a really hard time lately, and they really cheered me up, it's adorable to see them get so excited about my birthday, and so eager to make it a special day for me. They are getting to be so grown up!!

Awww, that's so sweet! Skittles are almost as good as cake, if your kids bought them for you, because it's your favorite candy!
