Is there anyway I can obtain a printout of text messages from my cell phone? I know I can save them but I have so many I lose space.

By Annie2 on Sunday, September 7, 2008 - 10:43 am:

Oh and I've tried forwarding them to email but they are not going through...

By Dawnk777 on Sunday, September 7, 2008 - 10:59 am:

DH and I wonder if you could get that from your cell provider? I guess that's where I would go first.

By Mrs_B on Sunday, September 7, 2008 - 12:54 pm:

I know some companies allow you to print them off the internet if you have an online account with them. You just have to log in to retrieve them.

No clue - I am technologically challenged when it comes to cell phones........just ask my kids. :)

Call your cell phone service provider. Have you checked out the service provider's website - the FAQ's? They may already answer that question on the website.

By Kaye on Sunday, September 7, 2008 - 07:56 pm:

The only way I know is via email. Calling your cell provider is the best option.

Thanks everyone. I called today but I have to wait until a working day. My sister suggested that I try to send them to ds's iphone but I do not want him involved in his father's crap towards me.

Annie,

Dh works for AT&T, he said that there is a way to forward them to your email, as long as they are saved on your phone. He just isn't sure how to do it. So, yes, call your service provider tomorrow, and they will be able to walk you through it.

By Conni on Sunday, September 7, 2008 - 10:41 pm:

(((Hugs))) I am not sure how to do it. Can you click on the msg, then choose option FWD message, then in contacts of where to send choose an email address to send it to as opposed to a phone number? ;) Not sure tho...

By Scott on Monday, September 8, 2008 - 06:58 pm:

See if your particular model of cell phone has an optional data cable that can interface with your computer. Most phones have that option these days. Just so you know, the cables aren't typically very inexpensive.

If you want more details, e-mail ginny~mod and she'll send it along to me.

Thanks everyone. I tried to contact my provider today but was on hold forever! I'll try them again. I'm thinking that I may have to add a feature to my plan to transfer calls to email. If no success there then I will contatc you Scott and you can give me more details.
