No holiday for me. I really had to Labor.

We moved Sarah into her dorm room today, got her loft setup and her computer all hooked up. We found a parking space right away, to unload the car. A nice young man on the housing association helped us carry the loft up to Sarah's room. The big pieces are so heavy and we have to carry them about a block-and-a-half.

Then buy books, where we had a long line to wait through, buy drinks for the ride home.

Stop in Plymouth, about 10 miles west of here, to eat supper at Culver's, then go to the fairgrounds, where I get to wait in another long line to pick up Emily's blue-ribbon knitting projects. It's been a long day. I'm so glad to be back in my cool house.

Whew, Dawn! What a day! Those are the things that we parents do, though. I bet you are happy to know that Sarah is all settled in, though, and has a nice comfortable place. How exciting for her. Is the campus far from you? I know it will be hard to not have her home. ((HUG)).

Congrats to Emily for the blue ribbons, too.

She is about an hour and 15 minutes away, so it's not too far.
