After a great deal of looking, we finally found a good used car for DS Shawn. He is taking driving lessons and hopes to have his drivers license by October-November.

The man we bought his car from was very nice and we just knew that he was an honest person. The car has been kept very nice and the maintenence (oil changes, etc) have been done very conscientiously. We paid for it and he gave us a bill of sale and even downloaded the forms we needed to register it at the DMV. Because the car is over ten yaers old, we did not need the title to register it. However, the man said that the next time he went to the bank, he would get the title out of his safe deposit box and mail it to us so that our records were complete.

He was good to his word. He sent it yesterday, along with a Mobil gas card for $25.00 for Shawn. He said that he was impressed with Shawn and what a polite young man he is. I just think that that was such a kind, thoughtful thing to do. People surprise you sometimes.
