I never heard of it, before now. Are you talking about this?

By Pandamamaoo4 on Tuesday, August 26, 2008 - 12:11 pm:

YES

By Karen~admin on Tuesday, August 26, 2008 - 12:27 pm:

First time I have ever heard of it.

By Dawnk777 on Tuesday, August 26, 2008 - 12:33 pm:

Did you have a question about it, or is it a cool application and worth downloading?

By Bobbie~moderatr on Tuesday, August 26, 2008 - 01:08 pm:

What exactly is it?

By Dawnk777 on Tuesday, August 26, 2008 - 01:25 pm:

It looks like it launches your applications.

By Dawnk777 on Tuesday, August 26, 2008 - 01:27 pm:

Here's an explanation:
Start Menu

But, unlike the author of this little essay, I DO know how to find Notepad, on my computer.

By Ginny~moderator on Tuesday, August 26, 2008 - 02:17 pm:

As much as I hate Microsoft, and think Microsoft programs are incredibly kludgy and non-user friendly, why on earth would you want to add someone else's programs to launch your Microsoft applications? Particularly someone else who is purportedly in the business of selling computer applications. I don't know anything negative about Enso, but I can't think of one good reason to add something from a relatively unknown (to me, and from a quick google, most of the rest of the internet) entity to my computer. It's not like they are Symantec or the Quicken people, whom I do trust.

By Dawnk777 on Tuesday, August 26, 2008 - 02:41 pm:

You can't download it, anyway. The download links don't work.

I have Quicklaunch activated on my taskbar. It does a fine job of launching my applications. That they launch slowly is more an issue of RAM on my computer, than anything else.

I have RAMBUS ram on my old Dell. 1 GB RAM would cost $469!!!!! So, I plod along with 512MB, until we can get me a new computer.
