I guess sleep is for the weak....

Because my body doesn't want any! I am having the HARDEST time getting tired and actually going to sleep. I either am not tired whatsoever and end up staying up until 1-2 am at the latest or I feel a bit tired but can't shut off my mind to go to sleep once I am in bed. I don't have caffeine past lunch time and I give myself time at the end of the night to wind down and relax. I've even tried a Melatonin supplement with no improvement. It's really frustrating! I have tossed and turned in bed for up to 2 hours before giving up and getting out of bed. The other day I only got 4 1/2 hours of sleep before waking. I had to have an energy drink to function that day (I haven't had one of those in at least a year!) and even then I was passed out of the couch by 5pm. I just don't know what's causing this! Ugh......

I'm up at 3:12am because i went to sleep at 10 something i was also up at almost 1am because of this also...if i go to bed at 1am or after i get up at 6 and sleep the rest of the day away until noon after i take the boys to school... = ( i feel your pain = (

Have you tried Yoga? It might bring you a cozy tiredess to set you fall asleep. (^_^)

ahh, insomnia...it keeps asking to be my friend too. I argue a lot with him at 3am. lol It's miserable! (((Hugs)))

I went back to bed about 8:30 am only to be woken up at 8:45 am by my sister = ( and then i went back to sleep again and woken up again at 10:50? i did have my alarm set for about 10:55 though but i guess it's a good thing she called again because i had it set for pm lol = )

Yep, I can relate. I usually don't have a problem going to sleep. I tend to wake up in the middle of the night and can't get BACK to sleep. OR I wake up at 4am and by the time I do get back to sleep my alarm goes off. *sigh* I figure I'll sleep when I'm dead! lol

I fall asleep fine and stay asleep for the most part, but I seem to wake up so early in the morning, regardless of when I went to sleep. 8 hours of sleep? I can't remember the last time I slept 8 solid hours.
