Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: Archive July 2008: 11 Weeks
This was the BEST appointment so far!!!! My DH met me at my OB's, and when my OB came into the room, she did a transvaginal U/S only to find out that she had to do a regular U/S because the dumpling has moved out of my lower pelvis, and up higher! She could feel my uterus, and said it felt great! She put the little thingie on my belly and we found our dumpling. It was moving and bouncing around. It's amazing I can't feel any of it yet. The heart looked strong and the baby was measuring perfectly. She then said that she should be able to hear the heartbeat with her doppler. I didn't think that she would be able to hear it until I was a little further along. It took a little bit, but she found it, and it was the best sound EVER! The heartbeat was in the 160's. I am so in love right now

That's so exciting. I'm glad everything continues to go well! How neat to see your little dumpling being so active, too. That must give you some more peace of mind.

Thank you so much ladies! My OB loved that image and just had to freeze it before he/she moved again. I am so glad she did. I love the little smile on the face. I feel like he/she is smiling at me!!!
