We had a wonderful time!! It was the best vacation! We went to Disney for 2 days. We stayed at the Renaissance at Sea World and it was a short drive. The kids had a great time, but 2 days were perfect for us. We were ready to head to the beach! The favorite moments for the kids: the parades. They both were waving and dancing--very cute!

We drove South to Hutchinson Island and stayed at a Marriott resort there. It was fantastic! The weather was perfect--blue skies, 82-84 degrees and a nice breeze. We stayed right on the beach and moved our room to a poolside 1st floor room, which was a dream with the kids. I was so nervous with the balcony on the 4th floor. With the first floor, the kids could go out by themselves and play and we could also toss the boogie board and swimmies right into our balcony!

It was a beautiful area. It was no too built up-not jazzed up, but there were nice little shops just over the bridge from the island. There were lots of nice local places to eat on the water. One place in Jensen Beach had live music and sand and chairs in a spot where the kids could play.

And the best for me....poolside service! I loved raising my little flag and having a drink brought over to me while I read my book. It was a dream!

I was sitting outside today and told my 5 yr old that I was just going to sit back, close my eyes and dream I was somewhere else. He told me to dream I was in Florida. I think now I'll dream of being in Florida - poolside and raising a little flag for a drink while reading a book. It sounds like heaven!

I'm glad you had a good time. I'd love to see the pics. Is your myspace public or private? I want to feel relaxed, too! LOL

I think we went to Hutchinson Island once with my aunt and uncle, it sounds familiar.

OOOh, i've got to find me a hotel/resort that brings me drinks when I raise my flag!! LOL
