Work from home opportunities...

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: Archive March 2008: Work from home opportunities...

Someone not long ago had posted that they were wondering if there were any legit ways to earn money while working from home. Well in Woman's World magazine this week they printed two websites that I wanted to post here, I haven't looked at them yet but it is worth checking out, after the Easter holiday is over of course!

The first one is liveops.com and the second is vipdesk.com, apparently companies such as J. Crew, 1-800-Flowers and others hire folks to work from home answering customer queries.

Another opportunity is tutoring online, where you can set your hours, pick the grade level and subjects your are interested in tutoring at tutor.com or esylvan.com

Here is something that they list as earning money while having fun at the same time, creating music mixes from songs at mixaloo.com and then they sell them on myspace and facebook and other sites. With this one you split the profits about $2.50 per mix.

And the final one which sparked my interest because I am a big court show type person is onlineverdict.com, here you read cases and answer questions. Apparently lawyers pay up to $60 for your time.

Thought I would pass these on thinking someone could check them out if interested! Have a blessed Easter!

Thanks for the info. I'm going to check them out. My new job at the golf course didn't pan out because they wanted me to work nights, weekends and early school week days at 6:30. With my four kids, their schedules, etc it wasn't going to work.
Working from home would be great for me. I did check out mystery shoppers and other companies as such but they wanted me to pay a fee and money up front. I'm just too nervous about being scammed.

As for tutoring online, my kids take online lesson in English almost daily. I wonder if there is any chance we can catch up with each other because of the time difference between Japan and USA. But our teachers are teching from Philippines. There is only 1 hour difference between us. Isn't it a kind of interesting story??
