Easter Help

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: Archive March 2008: Easter Help
By Chai~latte on Saturday, March 22, 2008 - 09:28 am:

Just looking for some ideas, we are strict vegetarians or dietary vegans, which means we do not consume any dairy or animal products.

I have some plastic Easter eggs and I like to fill them with something and have a little hunt with my boys tomorrow but I don't know what to put in the eggs as they cannot have milk chocolate and vegan chocolate is a little harder to find and they cannot have hard candies because they are still too young.

Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions?

We try to stay away from candy. I always put small toys/trinkets in the plastic eggs. Stickers, matchbox cars, super balls, party favor type things. Of course these items would not be a good option for kids under 3 due to choking hazards.

We don't do a lot of candy either. I do the same as Trina, we put quarters, stickers, matchbox cars, and other small items. But, my boys are older then yours, so we don't have to worry about the chocking hazzard.

I do quarters or trinkets too.

My dd is an animal lover, so we put small plastic animals in each egg. Do your boys like dinosaurs? Might be fun to put a small dino in each egg.:-)
