I have to share my excitement!

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: Archive March 2008: I have to share my excitement!

I bought a new sectional couch and it should be delivered today! It's a chenille fabric with down stuffing. As soon as I saw it I fell in love. Then I sat on it and was in heaven. I just *knew* it was the right one. DH knew I was going to get one but he hasn't seen a picture yet. He has not been online today so i'm dying not being able to share my excitement... therefore, i'm here! LOL My living room is empty as can be since I sold my other living room set last night. I can't wait..... :)

Nice set. I see many pillow forts and fights in your near future. :)

Very nice... I need a new couch and I would love a sectional. I think it would be the best option for my living room.

LOL Trina... my living room WAS a big fort with my last set. The kids love the pillows. The fabric is a darker beige than it came out in the picture. So hopefully I wont be too nervous about the kids around it.

Ooooh, can I come over for a nap? Those couches look sooo comfy.

On a more serious note, is Scotchguarding the fabric an option? We've done that with our couches and it lets us be less nervous when the kids are around them. If there is a little mishap, it's ok, we just clean it up. It's relieving to know we have scotchguard on them (the couches, not the kids, although.....lol).

Enjoy.

Yes, I did get the Scotchgard protection. I also bought the lifetime warranty. (Well, I kinda did. The girl charged me for it but deducted the cost off the couch since DH is in Iraq.) I LOVE it! It fits perfectly. And in all this chaos, i've decided to re decorate my whole downstairs! LOL My neighbor is making me curtains and I need to crackle paint some of my picture frames. This will keep me entertained for 4 more weeks until DH is home!!!

And LOL Eve.... I guess there IS an upside to deployments.... saving money! (Actually, I guess not in our case, huh? Our savings is for Vegas.)

I would claim the far right side as "Mom's spot" :)
