Urgent prayers please!!

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: Archive March 2008: Urgent prayers please!!

I am in Ohio and we are getting a TERRIBLE snow storm. My dd is in middle school and they did a 2 hour early dismissal. My dh was on his way home form work, so he went to pick her up. Luckily, she had called and I told her not to get on the bus, that he was coming.

I just heard that one of our buses got into a wreck. It hit a car head on and it flipped the bus on it's side. From what I am hearing, all the kids are ok, but they must be checked out before being allowed to go home. I heard the driver of the car is not ok. Pretty bad. Please say a quick prayer for all the kids that were on the bus. I am sure they are scared to death. One of dd's best friends was on it, so I am sure I will hear more about it later after she finally makes it home.

Keep all the buses, kids and drivers in your prayers that they all make it home ok!!

Ok, the bus did NOT flip on its side, but there was a wreck and the bus driver was hurt as well as the older lady in the car that hit them. There were some minor injuries on the bus like a split open lip or two from hitting the seats in front of them (I don't know why there aren't seat belts on buses) but none of the kids went to the hospital that my dd's friend knew of.
