Period radar

I swear my husband has it! LOL! He's gotten lucky, so many times, within hours of my period starting. It's like he knows, on some unconscious level. I'm not sure if it's a pheromone thing, or what. We did the deed, before I got up this morning, and my period started around lunchtime. Just wondering if this happens to anyone else. I did whine a little bit about our lack of opportunity this week, since we've been busy, and I knew it was due any day now, but I doubt that he really keeps track of that, since he is very busy with work and stuff.

I honestly believe that for some reason, doing the deed can make you start your period! I know there have been times that it is a day or so before I am supposed to start, we do the deed and I start a few hours later. My period is like clockwork, so starting even a day or two early is very odd for me. Doesn't happen at all unless we do the deed.

Always works that way for me I am never on time always within 3-4 days of scheduled time.

He always knows and always get some right before I start. This month it was witnin an hour of starting so he was cutting it close. But he alsos knows for me when I am close because I get very clingy at night right before.

My dh usually clues me in that my time of the month is coming around! The man can't remember to make a doctor's appointment but he can predict my period to the day every month. I've never had a regular cycle so I know he's not keeping track on some kind of "nookie calendar".:) The only giveaway I can think of is that my breasts get tender a few days ahead of time so his access is restricted sometimes.

THis is funny. A month or two ago there was a article on this in TIME magazine. I don't remember the details but it said that men can "SMELL" when you are menstruating. And I don't mean that they actually smell it, it's a subconscious thing and it turns them on. I read about it and then a few days later my dh said "i know this sounds weird but are you menstruating?" I told him that I was and he went on to tell me about the TIME article that I had read and obviously he'd read it too. HE said that what the article said was true, he was pretty sure that he could "smell" me (subconsciously) and it was totally turning him on.

So there ya go!

But, this is before the bleeding starts! So, he must be able to smell, on a subconcious level, that things are about to change! LOL!

well yes exactly. It's the pheramones or something. The human body is amazing! LOL

That always worked for DH and me, too, in our younger days. Having intercourse always seemed to "unoplug" me or something, and I would start within a few hours. LOL!

I proof read too fast. It is supposed to be "unplugged". LOL!

There is something to sex bringing on your cycle, if it's around that time anyway. Orgasms cause contractions, which can start flow, although it wouldn't cause you to start days early or anything, just kinda jumpstart things.
