You can tell it is getting closer to Spring!

High of 63 today and then a winter storm warning for tonight and tomorrow. 63 today, freezing rain and 33 for tomorrow! Gotta love it!

Anyone else getting weird weather?

By Brandy on Monday, March 3, 2008 - 07:59 am:

We are right there with you, Vicki. Saturday we had sun with temps. in the mid 70's. Last night we had tornados, and horrible thunderstorms. This morning we have snow, and we are in the 30's.

Right there with you, too! Indiana, so crazy weather is the norm for us, but I'm feeling spring fever these last couple of days only to have it squelched by snow and cold. Yuck!

We had a beautiful day yesterday!! High was 72 degrees!! We worked on tilling our garden and the strawberry patch. My grandson played outside with a nerf football and giant frisbee and also he and his dad my ds flew a kite that was how nice it was. Last night we had thunderstorms and heavy rains and over the next two days we are to have crazy weather, with possible snow with accumulation, waaahhh!! I want SPRING!

We were in the 40's yeaterday? LOL1 It's snowing now, with temps in the 30's and supposed to be in the 20's for a low tonight, so everything wet or slushy right now, is going to freeze. Oh fun.

By Karen~admin on Monday, March 3, 2008 - 11:26 am:

We have *near 80* today, and then later in the week, we'll be back into the 50's during the day. STRANGE

Personally, I love low-70's weather, but we don't usually get much of that. It's either hot and humid here, or cold and raining - for a very short time.

I envy you guys with 4 seasons.

I think here, we have 2 seasons - hurricane season, and *not* hurricane season. LOL

Karen, did you have any storms today? All the weather channel people seemed to want to talk about this afternoon was bad thunderstorms/tornado watches, etc., down in Lousiana and Arkansas. (between 2 and 3pm CST.)

By Jelygu on Tuesday, March 4, 2008 - 07:37 am:

Alabama is the same way. We had two days of beautiful weather. Last night we got the storms, and it is supposed to be in the 40's today, (although my weather thing on my comp says it's 63 right now???) and get colder all week.
And my poor son thought it was gonna be time to go swimming soon because of the 70 degree days!!

We were at almost 80 Sunday and it snowed last night.. It is CRAZY!!!!

Dawn, OMGosh, the storms last night were SCARY. It was 80 degrees here yesterday, and I had to go to the surgeon for yet another cast in the afternoon. The wind was so hard, I was having trouble on I-10. The real weather didn't happen until about 9 last night, and continued for a while - I could hear stuff blowing around the house, and this morning, things are knocked over everywhere outside.

Beautiful CHILLY day here now though!

Ice storm here right now... The roads are starting to freeze over and I have to go out to get the kids.. :( I wish spring would hurry up, past sick of winter..

By Vicki on Tuesday, March 4, 2008 - 03:31 pm:

We live on the top of a hill and I started noticing ice in the trees a few hours ago. I went to pick dd up from school and the temp in my car read 32 at my house. I was noticing how pretty all the trees looked with the ice.(the roads were fine) Got to the bottom of the hill and noticed none of the trees had ice in them, looked at the temp and it was 33!

When I came back after getting dd I was telling her about it and it was funny to watch the progression of the ice in the trees on the way up the hill. Goes to show you that one degree can make all the difference in the world!!!

By Dawnk777 on Tuesday, March 4, 2008 - 03:42 pm:

32 is a definite temperature. 33 is water and 32 is not! LOL! That's interesting that it was that noticeable.

We do have some water on our driveway, but if the sun can't get to it, it's frozen. Temp is right around 30, I think.

Karen, that sounds scary! I'm glad you made it to the doctor's okay.
