Can anyone help me. Our DSD's phone memory card got erased...Is there any way to get the pictures back?
Here's what happened. we were trying to take ringtones from one phone to another by by putting the memory card from one phone into the other. problem was one has Att and one has verizon. Upon inserting the card into the verizon phone it asked if we wanted to format it. She hit yes but was unable to get the tones off the card. When she put the card back into the Att phone it asked if she wanted to format it and she hit no. It erased all my pictures. Can anyone help us???

If you format something, it erases everything! I have no idea if you can recover them or not.

DH has a program called Image Rescue, that has recovered corrupted pictures for him from his compact flash cards. He works for a newspaper, so sometimes those corrupted files are important.

Maybe ask at the cellphone place, if they can help.

DH just told me about a different program called PC Inspector Data Recovery, that works really well, and is free.
