A brief reprieve and a big snow on Monday

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: Archive February 2008: A brief reprieve and a big snow on Monday
By Dawnk777 on Friday, February 22, 2008 - 08:07 am:

Low pressure is expected to gather over Iowa and Missouri Monday before tracking across Illinois and Indiana monday night. this is a favorable track for producing {moderate to heavy snow} in southern Wisconsin.

Current indications are that 6 to 8 inches of snow are possible if the storm develops and tracks as expected. Winter storm watches may be needed in the next day or two for much of southern
Wisconsin as a result.

Naturally...this storm is more than 3 days away and much can change. Enjoy the quiet weather this weekend but keep in touch with the latest forecasts concerning this potential winter storm.

Have a good weekend? How can I now? LOL! We better be rested up for Monday!
