Surgery tomorrow - *see* you all in a week or two....

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: Archive February 2008: Surgery tomorrow - *see* you all in a week or two....
By Karen~admin on Tuesday, February 12, 2008 - 08:18 pm:

This will be my last post for a while - I am going in tomorrow morning for the thumb joint replacement and carpal tunnel surgery on my left hand. The right hand will be done in the summer sometime. I can say with a fair amount of certainty, I won't be online for at least several days, after that I'll probably just be reading for a bit.

I'll *see* you all *sometime* soon!

By Marcia on Tuesday, February 12, 2008 - 08:34 pm:

Good luck, Karen! You'll be in my prayers for a speedy recovery. Come back soon! :)

Thanks. The absolute WORST pain I've ever had. Typing 1-handed. Stuck in 1 spot connected to an electric ice pack thing. Hand totally looks like a balloon, will be reading but not posting, thanks again!

By Deneen1 on Saturday, February 16, 2008 - 02:37 pm:

I am very happy to see you are up at least reading. Let me know if you need anything. I'm glad all went well, and I hope the pain and swelling subside soon.

An automatic ice pack thing? I hate having cold hands! Good luck! I'm glad the surgery went okay.
