I am so excited!

Last night I tried out for my college dance team and I made it! :) I think it will be so much fun! I haven't done anything like this since I had ds but I took dance and was a cheerleader in high school. I am the oldest one for sure! Practice is one night a week expect for the week before the competition and between fund raisers and school donations I only have to pay for my shoes. I was definitely out of my comfort zone but the girls were very nice. I will be some work I know but fun too. I think my kids will get a kick out of it. We do a revue at the college and a few locally too. Between dance practice and taking the kids roller skating I am one sore mama lol! I haven't done this stuff in a LONG time.

Oh I am also nervous. I know the kids will be okay without me about 3 hours a week for practice but it is hard to get past the feeling of being selfish. Anything else I do goes to benefit the family like school or part time work here and there. If it cost money there is no way I could do it. Ugh! Why is that?

That is the way we are conditioned. Everyone and then us.

I personally think you should go for it and enjoy yourself. It will be good for your physical and mental health...

^5 good for you, stepping outside of the box.
