I feel so stupid lately. If my head wasn't screwed on, i would lose it, i swear!

Saturday i called to refill my prescription of bc pills. Sunday and Monday I forgot to pick them up. I picked them up Tuesday. Tuesday night I forgot to take dd to Ballet lessons. Tuesday night i realized i couldn't find my bc pills anywhere. Today i called and got htem refilled again. Of course insurance didn't cover these!
I can't find my dd's choker for her Cinderella halloween costume.
I just feel like my brain is mush! I have forgotten other things as well. I can't be going senile or anything, i'm only 27!

The thing is, i am usually much more organized and take care of things to make sure i don't lose them.

I really feel like i am so busy, but i don't really have THAT much going on right now! Maybe it's the time of year. Is anyone else experiencing this or am i just losing it?

It happens when you have kids. I lost half my brain while pregnant with ds & the other half while pregnant with dd. I don't know what is going to happen if I get pregnant again.

I was told that a mother's brain migrates to the placenta during pregnancy and is lost during labor. Face it, we aren't ever the same. That said, I have been making lists for everything lately. I have become a slave to paper. I have to make a daily to-do list for any running around or lessons, meetings, etc we have or it will NOT be done! Good luck.

My younger ds who was 16 at the time, said that dd got my brains. I said 'thank you, that was sweet'. He said 'No, I meant that she took them with her when she came out.'

I used to think I was intelligent. I remember it, I
really do. But about a month after I found out I was pregnant with dd, my brain went away and she's 3 1/2 yo and I still don't think it's returned. Maybe it found a home who would take better care of it.

My theory is we loose brain cells with the placenta. Hey, that's my theory and I'm sticking to it! How else did I get a Mommy Brain???

Cat LOL, no. I don't think I am pregnant. Although i have been nauseus for no reason lately and have no appetite. But i just had my period and havn't been with my dh since...because i feel sick.

I know, i definitely lost tons of brain cells with both kids. But that was 4 yrs ago. All of a sudden more brain cells are going....maybe they are getting ready to celebrate my ds's 4th birthday and the 4th anniversary of when they left my brain! LOL

I'm glad to know i'm not alone.
