Santa has arrived!!!
I finally got my SS package...It was NOT Yumi fault...BAD BAD post Office/Custom office.
I got home today and it was waiting for me at the front door!!! Yeah!!! I was so excited..I had just been talking to my Mom about waiting for it, I said it would be coming soon and then I get home and it was there 
Yumi send me a bottle of salad dressing..cant wait to try this looks good..a box of PANDA shape chocolates..I LOVE Panda bear/user name pandamama004 The best gift was a purse that she hand sewn for me...It is so beautiful..It was worth the wait.

That one is the second package I sent you. The previous one I tried to be in time for Christmas should be stil in custom. It WAS my fault I did not write down my address on it. I hope it would reach you someday soon though.
The salad dressing can go with any salad but I love it with green salad without any mayonaised toppings like potato salad.

Sorry I have NOT gotten back to you sooner..LIFE got in the way again.It looks like our DSD that was in the car accident in Nov will be going back to work tomorrow! YEAH
The chocolate is all gone..it was soooo good..The dressing is almost gone too. It is good on a salad.
Everyone loves my purse.My Mom would love to have one like it but a little bigger...It is just fine for me.Everyone likes to hear where it came from,I say I got it from my SS from Japan. They think that is neat.
The weather here is suppost to be raining but not yet...It has just begun..I just finished planting a rose bush that my Mom gave me last week. I love rose bushes in my yard!

It would be nice to have you as my SS this coming year but I don't think it will happen...Who knows BUT we can still keep in touch. I like talking to you...I want to learn about Japan and how you live over there and I will help you learn how we live here.
Tomorrow is Valentines day...Do you celebrate it in Japan? What will you be doing?? Anything special? NOT sure yet what we will be doing. Who knows??

Well, as for the Valentines Day in Japan. It is just the day for the girls to give "chocolate" especially for the boy whom she loves. It is a good chance for the girls to show how she is thinking about him. But these days most of the girls including me give chocolates to go through the motions (obligation chocolates). I give a small pack of chocolates to those boys who takes good care of my son then my DD always asks me to tell them that IT IS NOT FROM HER but me,MOM of her brother. She always does not want to be misunderstood by those boys.
So my husband always got some chosolate, an obligation chocolate from his secretary or a very few of his colleague ladies every year.
Then the boys have to send back some candies on March 14th. that is called White Day.
It would be an exciting chore for me to buy any candies in return every year. I hope I can shop more for my DS this year...
As it is the first Valentines Day since my DS started going to his elementary school, I am thrilled a bit if he can get any chocolates today.
As for my husband he is sick in bed from bad flu today, he missed the only chance in a year that the ladies at his office are good to him. LOL
Hope your DSH is feeling better today.

DSH and I exchanged valentines this morning before he went to work.We won't be doing much...My Mom is cooking dinner for our family tonight..pork roast..MMMMM
