Jasmine was trying to roll, in a tight corner, near my computer. She barely fit. Sarah made her move and moved a small carpet that was crumpled there, on the floor. Then we discovered a thoroughly dead mouse. There was no trap or anything. We didn't try to kill it. So, we are no longer a no-kill mouse sanctuary. I have no way of knowing if this was the same mouse we'd seen when we came back from vacation in the washing machine, or the one I'd found in a garbage can.

I know we had to clean up some mouse droppings off my computer desk, in the past week or so, and it hadn't started to decompose yet, so maybe it hadn't been dead for long.

I'm glad Jasmine found it for us, before it had really become a mess.
